Lebanese Feta Dip
When you purchase or make a beautiful warm bread, you need a delicious dip to go with it. This feta and vegetable dip soaked with beautiful and tangy olive oil is the perfect compliment to warm bread.
Recipe:
1 block Feta Cheese, crumbled
1 beef steak tomato, petit dice
3 green onions, minced
10 raw pistachios, crushed (optional)
1/4 cup olive oil
green zataar or oregano for topping
Directions:
Crumble the feta and place it on a plate.
Then dice your tomatoes and place on top of the feta.
Then mince your green onion and place on top of the tomato.
(optional) crush the pistachios and top on the plate.
Add the green zataar or dried herb on top of the mixture.
Drizzle the plate with olive oil.
Enjoy dipping and topping with a warm baguette or pita bread.
This mixture is also perfect as a topping for manakesh or flatbread pizza
