Buffalo Tuna Sandwiches

Summer makes sandwiches feel a bit more like actual summer. The Buffalo Tuna Sandwich is another deli favorite. Check out the recipe and pack that basket for the beach!!

Recipe:

(Makes 2 small sandwiches)

Toast or French Dinner Rolls

1 (4 oz.) can tuna in water

1/4 cup purple onion, finely diced (optional)

2 tablespoons Mayo

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1 tablespoon Buffalo Sauce

1- 2 Slices American Cheese

Toppings:

Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles, Banana Peppers

Directions:

1. Drain can of tuna well with a sieve and place in a bowl.

2. Finely dice the purple onion add on top of the tuna.

3. Add Mayo, black, pepper, garlic powder, Buffalo Sauce to the bowl and mix well.

4. Place tuna bowl in the fridge for 20 min.

5. Toast bread and let sit for 5 min to cool, then add veggies, tuna, American Cheese into a sandwich. Enjoy with some chips.
